This month, we recognized Migraine & Headache Awareness Month, HHT Awareness Month, and Aphasia Awareness Month through survivor stories, expert perspectives, and groundbreaking research.
In this issue, we featured stories from Stephany Zumerling, Joey Zumerling, and Emily Matheny, introduced our 2026 TAAF Cerebrovascular Research Grantees, and highlighted exciting brain aneurysm research from Dr. Ethan Winkler and his team at UCSF.
Finally, we were treated to a mini art exhibition, with the inclusion of @angieflynnart amazing watercolor pieces.
